The final profit number for 2012 is $777,000 ($742,000 last year). We improved in every category including $96,000 from the Chevron Challenge; $314,000 Live Auction; $122,000 Silent Auction; $361,000 Table Sales; and $314,000 Ticket Sales.  Bottom line, we could not do this without you, so thank you.

 

Please put June 15th in your calendars for the Nineteenth Annual Manhattan Wine Auction (a week later due to the Mira Costa Prom).

We had another great WAB dinner last week at Second City Bistro in El Segundo with a brand new theme, Brown Bag Special.  Attendees brought Parker rated 90+ wines in brown bags for a blind tasting and it was really a hit.  Memorable wines included Pahlmeyer, Insignia, BV, Caymus, Dead Arm, Mollydooker Gigglepot, Linne Calodo Nemesis, Clio Jumilla, and Ridge Monte Bello.  Second City stepped up with great food and service, so we will definatley be back as will this great theme.  Thanks to all who participated and stay tuned for our final WAB dinner of the year featuring our annual CA CAB v Bordeaux cage match!
